I am a hoarder collector at heart, and when I see an interesting bone divination set that is attractive and not too expensive, I usually buy it. The Mytho Menagerie kit is certainly attractive, both in packaging and the set itself. I think it’s only rival for most attractive packaging in my collection is the set by Bones to Pick, which comes in a Jicara that can be used for storage.
The box is cloth covered and has a hand painted image on the top.
It comes with a card providing a brief explanation of how to do a reading. My only issue is that it does not identify the bones as to what animals they come from.
It comes with a hand drawn cloth and a dozen pieces.
Overall a very attractive set. The card suggests that the bones be used to represent symbols provided on the card, similar to the style used by readers whose sets consist of one species. If that is how you read, then the actual species and body parts are less important. I also think that as the set grows you will outgrow the cloth rather quickly, but it could easily be duplicated onto a larger cloth if you like and use its layout.
