While not a bone set, the Junk Oracle is a great example of the types of things that can be added to a bone set for little or no money. Each set comes with 21 small items and a set of collage playing cards that have instructions and the meanings. The pieces are the type of things you find in a junk box or drawer – a robot eraser, a screw, charms, a magnifying glass, a button and a fuzzy chick are some of the items included in my set. There is also a bag to store and carry them, a small piece of cloth that can be used as a reading surface, and an instruction sheet. Each set is different.

I hope it sparks your imagination and gives you some ideas for your own bone set. You can order the Junk Oracle here.

On another note, the Hoodoo Heritage Festival is over. I had a blast throughout and I learned some cool new meanings for some of my bones during my workshop. The folks who attended were sharp, and came up with some wonderful meanings that I never would have thought of in a million years.
